I forget what year it was when we stayed in Kalami, but the Adonis/Asonitas apartments were reaching completion. My wife and I had set off for a walk but we were caught in a thunderstorm. We managed to reach Nikolas Tavern and sheltered. We were kindly invited inside out of the rain where we enjoyed several beers, a superb meal and several brandies. Eventually we reluctantly decided that we should leave, the owner (who I now know is Perikles) informed us that if we waited a short time, he would take us back to our apartment when he went to collect his daughter from school. What a generous and kind person who deserves to succeed. Reading the guest book, I can see that he has indeed succeeded and long may he continue to do so. Many Thanks,
